Windcraft specializes in multihull sailboats, both catamarans and trimarans such as the immensely popular Corsair trailerable trimarans, the exciting Multi 23 sports trimaran designed by van Peteghem and Lauriot Prevost, and the popular Windrider trimarans. We have two locations, one near Destin in north west Florida and another in Atlanta. Windcraft is owned and operated by Don Wigston, a long-time Corsair trimaran owner and racer, so Windcraft knows Corsair boats inside and out. In addition to the full Corsair line-up, Windcraft also offers two high-performance cruising catamarans from TRT Multihulls in Norway--the TRT 1200 and 1420. In addition, we offer two really nice POWER catamarans built in Poland - the Motorcat 30 and Motorcat 29.

In addition to our lines of new multihulls, Windcraft offers an extensive selection of previously owned multihulls. While we focus primarily on used Corsair trimarans, we also offer several non-Corsair boats, a variety of larger cruising cats and tris, and some smaller and more affordable multihulls like the Farrier-designed Trailer Tri and older Dragonflies, plus the occasional power cat.

Our mission is to provide our customers with the best possible service not only during the purchase phase, but throughout the ownership period. To that end we offer a full line of replacement parts for Corsair trimarans, replacement sails, quality custom built foils (rudders and daggerboards) replacement nets and trampolines, furling systems and Colligo Marine brand synthetic rigging. Don is usually available seven days a week, evenings included, for immediate advice and assistance. And if the time comes around to sell your precious multihull, or trade up (or down), Windcraft is there to help you get the most value out of your boat. Being a fairly small company we don't have a huge yard full of boats identical to yours, deteriorating in the sun. We try to stock only one example of each model so that yours will get our full attention as well as that of any potential buyers. And we can provide secure indoor storage for your boat if you wish. We often have buyers looking for particular models so please call us if you decide to put yours on the market, we may already have a buyer.

2005 - Its not all white-knuckle racing. Corsairs make great family cruisers and day sailers too.

2012 - Same boys, same boat, still loving it 7 years later.

Newsflash
2013 Corsair Nationals

The 2013 Corsair Nationals were held on the second weekend in June on San Francisco Bay. Don just returned from competing there on borrowed Corsair Dash 750, teaming up with Louisiana Corsair Sprint owner and racer Bob Hodges. Seven races were held over three days in winds typically around 10-15. Days 1 and 2 consisted of a total of 6 windward-leeward buoy races making for some absolutely thrilling downwind spinnaker legs (click here and here to view photos). The final race was a "tour of the bay" past Alcatraz into the middle of the Golden Gate wind venturi and back where the fleet saw winds close to 30 knots. First place overall went to Florida sailor Phil Styne on a Sprint 750 Mk II, which was towed all the way from Stuart Florida to San Francisco for the event. Don’s team came in second in class and second overall in the 21 boat fleet. Full results can be viewed by clicking on this link .

Corsair introduces two new models
Corsair recently announced two new models. The first, The Dash 750 Mk II, is a revised version of the popular Dash 750, with improvements to the interior, and a larger volume front cabin. The second is the long awaited replacement for the venerable Corsair 31/F-31 (which has been in continuous production, albeit with continuous improvements, since 1993). This new model is called the 970 Cruz. See http://www.corsairmarine.com/ for more information.
Spinnaker furling system
Windcraft is excited to offer a line of top-down spinnaker furlers by Colligo Marine. Check out this short video showing one of these systems in action on a Corsair Dash 750. Call or e-mail Don Wigston for more information.
Corsair Sprint 750 Mk II

The Sprint 750 Mk II is the latest model in the Corsair lineup. It has many improvements include the higher volume, higher buoyancy floats (amas) first seen on the Dash 750. Call for more details.

Corsair Dash 750

The most popular current model from Corsair Marine is called the Dash 750 and is a development of the Corsair 24 and Sprint 750. It has the mast, sail plan and efficient foils (daggerboard and rudder) from the sporty Sprint 750, an interior similar to but improved upon that of the Corsair 24, and boasts higher buoyancy floats with plumb bows. Its a great looking boat, and an excellent performer. Check out Corsair Marine's web site for more information.

Custom Foils
Windcraft is an authorized agent for Competition Composites Inc. (CCI) aka Phil's Foils, makers of high quality aftermarket rudders and daggerboards for many different multihulls including a full lineup of foils for Corsair Trimarans and other Farrier-designed trimarans.
